the festival has grown to include 90 events and over 350 national and
international artists performing each year. The

of Jazz also hosts the National Jazz Awards, Youth Jazz Workshops,
Masterclasses and events throughout Wangaratta and surrounding wine
regions.

It will be ‘kerb-to-kerb’ lycra in Glenrowan’s main street on Sunday
8th November, when cyclists again converge on the town, for the 2009
Kelly Country Classic. Following in the footsteps of the legendary
Kelly gang, the ride will start and finish in Glenrowan, with the
choice of three routes designed to suit a range of rider abilities and
fitness levels. Participants will have the opportunity to win a range
of fantastic food, beverage, accommodation and cycling goods in lucky
prize draws on the day. The most challenging ride will cover 150km of
Kelly Country, from Glenrowan to Winton, Lurg, Benalla East, Tatong,
Molyullah, Moyhu, Greta and back to Glenrowan. Still challenging, but
not quite so arduous, riders can choose the 100km ride from Glenrowan
to Lurg, Myrrhee, Moyhu and returning to Glenrowan. The 50km option
will take cyclists from Glenrowan to Greta, Moyhu and back to the town,
made famous by the Kelly Gang’s Last Stand.

Celebrate
the arrival of spring at La Dolce Vita - the King Valley's
springtime festival of the sweet wonderful weekend of Mediterranean al
fresco indulgence, new release wines and warm King Valley Hospitality.
The range of new release wines on tasting will highlight the
extraordinary and wonderful viticulural family winemakers of the
region. There will be wines from Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese,
French varieties on show, all made ready for the spring celebration.
The food will be equally tantalising as the wineries go all out to
create delicious meals to match the wines.
